Album

Hot August Night is a 1972 live double album by Neil Diamond The album is a recording of a Diamond concert on August 24, 1972, one of ten sold-out concerts that Diamond performed that month at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. This also marks the first album released by the newly formed MCA Records a merging of the Uni, Kapp, and Decca labels. Diamond later released three live sequel albums, Hot August Night II 1987, Hot August NightNYC 2009, and Hot August Night III 2018. Hot August Night, NYC - Neil Diamond. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей. Neil Diamond at his electrifying, mesmerizing and hypnotic best. Hot August Night 1972 - He knocked them dead. One of the greatest albums ever made. Neil came through a cloud of smoke and the audience just exploded. It was the first time I saw him confident on stage. This is the ultimate Neil Diamond record. Not necessarily the best - he's at his most appealing crafting in the studio - but certainly the ultimate, capturing all the kitsch and glitz of Neil Diamond, the showman. And that also means that it's not just loaded with flair, but with filler, songs like Porcupine Pie, Soggy Pretzels, and And the Grass Won't Pay No Mind - attempts to write grand, sweeping epics that collapse under their own weight. Neil Diamond is a master showman, I got this album when Vinyl ruled the media and I played this album until it couldn't be played anymore, I love Neil Diamond, even after all of these years, he can still do it for me in every song he sings and this album is no exception. Neil Diamond's 1972 Hot August Night holds what I regard as his best ever All the great ballad-like songs are there, namely Sweet Caroline, Red Red Wine, Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon, Canta Libre, or Song Sung Blue, to name a few .
