Lovely blackened stuff this from Todd Watson. A bit too short really, would of liked at least 35mins!

Starts off sounding like something 'huge' giving birth: low bass rumbles, crunchy static, feedback stabs. Like something ripping apart, 'seperating' in fact. This then quietens down a bit to dark drone, and static way back in the mix, but with sublimated noises underneath. Sounds like shouting and feedback but very muffled and reverb drenched and very subtle, like in another room or building.
Side 2 is even more mysterious. It is composed of 2 sections (like side A) but the majority of wich sounds like some one in a cave muttering incantations (a Hermit?)whilst muffled sounds wash over it all with cavernous reverb. This eventually ends with what sounds like a circular saw and somebody screaming but it's so subdued you have to concentrate (which is why HG is SO good). Then its all buzzing guitar noise, all layered up to sound like, maybe, the distant circular saw of the first bit but not 'hidden'.

Awesome sounds for an EP. This is top notch and highly recommended. It's a trip.
