Singersongwriter Tret Fure first worked with Cris Williamson as an engineer on Williamson's children's album, Lumière 1982, after which the two became domestic partners and contributed to each other's albums, with Fure helping add a more produced, harder-rocking sound to Williamson's LPs Prairie Fire and Wolf Moon. With Postcards from Paradise, the two abandoned their solo careers to form a permanent duo act. The album, which contains five songs written by Williamson, four by Fure, and two co-compositions, leans more to Williamson's typical sound than Fure's. Postcards From Paradise was recorded in 1993, collaborating with Singersongwriter Tret Fure who first worked with Cris Williamson in 1982. This beautiful album contains original music written and co-written by Williamson and Fure. It is a folk-rock masterpiece. Many of these beautiful arrangements are piano-based, containing hints of country and Native American styles. Little World Spinning Blue is a wonderful curtain raiser, introducing a series of story-songs, sometimes based on events in their lives. Tret Fure tributes her father with My Fathers Hands while Williamson closes the album with. Postcards from Paradise is the 18th studio album by Ringo Starr. It was released on 31 March 2015. The album was produced completely by Starr himself, and engineered by longtime collaborator Bruce Sugar. Several album titles were considered, including Let Love Lead. Starr worked with many of his regular songwriting and recording colleagues on Postcards from Paradise, including Van Dyke Parks, Dave Stewart, and Gary Burr.
